Korean superstar and one of the most sought-after actors in the industry, Lee Min-Ho, graced the country after seven years by being the newest endorser of the country’s largest real estate developer, SMDC. Dubbed as SMDC’s ‘Good Guy’, we learned more about the actor’s career and what’s in store for him during the exclusive presscon held at Conrad Manila last October 15.

Lee Min-Ho, popularly known for his roles in ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ ‘The Heirs,’ ‘Legend of the Blue Sea,’ and ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’, is SMDC’s newest ambassador of their premier high-end properties. It’s definitely an honor to have the superstar represent the largest estate developer in the country.

The actor first exclaimed during his presscon about the warm greetings he received from Filipino fans when he arrived at the airport. It was a sentimental feeling that signified Lee Min-Ho’s still roaring popularity in the country. The actor also shared how he feels so well-loved whenever he visits the Philippines and that his fans’ love for him never wavers over the years. He also shared that he wishes to visit the Philippine islands and have some quiet, alone time. But due to his busy schedule, he hasn’t had the time to do that yet. “I would love to go to a secret island and spend time. [...] If anyone can tell me about these secret islands in secret, I would be very grateful,” he said. We do hope Lee Min-Ho gets the time he needs to just enjoy a solitary moment at a place where he can feel relaxed. He deserves it!

When it comes to the entertainment industry, Lee Min-ho is thriving! He debuted as an actor in 2006 and just celebrated his 17th anniversary in the industry this year. A truly prominent actor, Lee Min-Ho shares his secret to his longevity by showing his true, genuine self for every project he does. 

For his upcoming projects, Lee Min-ho shared that a season 2 of “Panchinko” is in the works and a movie that he has been preparing for. Big, exciting things are still coming Lee Min-Ho’s way, and we look forward to it!

Lee Min-Ho truly rose to stardom due to the popularity of his 2009 role in “Boys Over Flowers” as the charmingly handsome and rich Gu Jun-Pyo. He shared that up to this day, people still refer to him as Gu Jun-Pyo! Lee Min-Ho is still amazed by how influential the role he played is to people and it's touching how the role is still continuously remembered. 

Besides being an A-list actor, Lee Min-Ho has his own personal project called ‘leeminho film’, a collection of artistic vlogs, short films, and the like. The actor shared how this personal project is a personal space for him. It’s also a gateway wherein he can express his emotional side and shows what he’s feeling. lee minho film is just that, a personal gateway for Lee Min-Ho to express what he wants to express when he feels like it.
