Amoranto Stadium was filled (as usual) with metal music fans on a beautiful and electric Saturday afternoon (May 6). Fortunately, the metal gods granted us a gloomy(not hot as hell) weather while we listen to the first three supporting bands, the triple threat from Taiwan; Flesh Juicer, Burning Island, and Bloody Tyrant. They gave us a taste of Asian metal, that made this year's Pulp Summer Slam a little more unique.
A day before the festival, members of Flesh Juicer, Burning Island, and Bloody Tyrant dropped by the Monster station to share how stoked they are for the upcoming show.

Philippine Tattoo Artist Guild President Ricky Sta Ana was also spotted enjoying Jinjer's set. Jinjer is a female-fronted metal band from Ukraine.
This Monster metal head was also spotted with a beer-cup castle. *hope he didn't drink all that beer all by himself
