4/9 of Ben&Ben dropped by on the Monster on a FANtastic Friday with Rico and Karla on All Out! It's always such a pleasure and a huge fun to have these guys around (peep at our Ben&Ben interview last June 2020 where we had all the members and it was an entertaining chaos!) Paolo Guico, Miguel Guico, Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma were among the Bens who had a chat with our All Out hosts and the Monsters this time.

This band just continues on rising day by day, even getting international recognition! They've also been busy with their music, having released two singles this year - "Upuan" and "Magpahinga" - and are working on their upcoming album. Also the reason why the other members (Keifer Cabugao, Jam Villanueva, Poch Barretto, Andrew de Pano and Toni Muñoz) weren't present during the interview because some of them stayed up until 3 in the morning the day before recording and some were currently recording at the time. These guys are definitely working hard to give us that much-needed Ben&Ben music we've been waiting for!

In terms of still creating music despite the pandemic going on, Ben&Ben are taking up their main inspiration from their fans they call Liwanag. They also approached it in a way that no matter how difficult the situation is, they believe there are always stories to tell and the stories they will translate on their upcoming album are the stories that reflects the current situation we are all in. In fact, their new release "Magpahinga" is their message to everyone struggling and having a hard time with the pandemic, focusing on telling that "it really is okay to rest" mixed in also with their own experiences. Truly is an anthem for the circumstance we are still currently facing.

The band is always big on teamwork effort and for releasing songs, it's always a talk among them and feeling out which vibe of each song is best to release at a certain time. They also upped their teamwork effort to the next level as the Bens are currently living in one roof together! It's honestly like a permanent sleepover with your talented bestest friends and we are here for it! But how is their living situation like? The band has gotten to know each other on a deeper level and getting to know one another's quirks now that they spend every waking hour together! And we sense that it wasn't hard for them to live together as they're already like a tight-knit family. They also released a mini behind-the-scenes of ther life living together on their Youtube channel called "BBTV" so do check that out for sure laughs and heartwarming moments between the band!

Ben&Ben has always been transparent towards their fans and they always connect with them in every way, which makes the band more loved by their Liwanag. In their upcoming album, they dived into themes of basically their feelings and emotions and also the people around them which makes it more personal and universal at the same time. Definitely a soundtrack of our lives!

We cannot fathom how excited we are for their new album and we're pretty sure you, Monsters are as well! Their sound will definitely be a mixture of their roots and something new as well as they were intentional in pushing the limits of their artistry. Each band member also picked songs they co-produced so we'll definitely get a glimpse of what each of their music style is like. There's so much to look forward to!
