Rico and Karla of All Out kicked off the week with a livestream featuring Inigo Pascual! The 22-year-old singer joined All Out from his new condo where he’s been spending most of quarantine to talk about upcoming projects, living solo, and his ligaw style.

The first few weeks of community quarantine were a bit of a struggle for Inigo, but luckily, he got those creative juices flowing again after a while. He released a new single “Should Be Me” on May 1, and was invited to the upcoming Asia Rising Forever online music fest by 88rising! Inigo will be performing along with Asian global music stars Rich Brian, Niki, Yuna, Phum Viphurit, and more on May 6, 2020.

Being part of this online music fest is a big thing for Inigo, who has been a fan of 88rising for a while now. “When they told me I was gonna work on something with 88rising, I immediately said yes,” he told Rico and Karla. “I was in LA when we worked on it. We filmed some stuff, which is actually what we’re gonna be showing during the online concert.” What can you expect from Asia Rising Forever? “It’s one online concert with different performances, different genres different styles. There are some rappers, there are some singers… I’m so excited to be part of it! Music, honestly, unites us no matter what language you speak.” Inigo is just as excited as we are – he still can’t believe his name is on that poster!

Fans and listeners were eager to learn more about Inigo’s upcoming music. “I have a couple of Tagalog tracks, I’ve collaborated with some of my favorite artists, and still currently writing some new music,” Inigo shared. Writing in Tagalog is something the singer has been loving, with how sweet and sincere it sounds. “It hurts even more when you sing in Tagalog, you know? It has more emotions.” Are we ready for the feels that will come with Inigo’s future Filipino tracks?

In fact, he loves OPM love songs so much, that he’d dedicate Moira Dela Torre’s “Ikaw At Ako” to his perfect girl, or “The One” – but while he’s still single, that song dedication will have to wait for a bit! Inigo admitted he HAS used his singing and guitar skills to charm some girls, though. We don’t blame him, we’re sure it would make the girls swoon!

Along with the love for OPM comes his appreciation for the Filipino ligaw culture. His “ligaw tips?” Take time to get to know each other well, become best friends, have some things in common but be open to learning new things from one another, and make time for the person!

And ladies, if this is a plus factor: Inigo is an independent man! He said he’s always wanted to live alone, not to get away from home but to become more independent – and in January, he moved into his own condo. In fact, he doesn’t shop for material things as much right now, and instead spends his money on furniture and other things to make condo life better. He did give us a tour of his unit; you’ll have to check out the full stream on our Facebook to see it!

Other things to see on Inigo’s All Out interview: a short acoustic performance, what he’s been binge watching, a little bit of Tiktok, and more! Check it out here:
