The Monster is back in the concert scene after 2 years! We got to rock out with ALL TIME LOW last August 15 at SM MOA Arena!

After a long wait, we finally got to experience live music once again. First up on our concert list is American rock band, ALL TIME LOW!

The fans and the band themselves have been anticipating their Manila show and it definitely did not disappoint! Despite the on-going pandemic, concert goers duly complied with the health protocols and had their masks on at the venue. We’re just happy the show went on and everybody enjoyed themselves!

Opening for All Time Low was punk rock band Chicosci! They definitely set the crowd’s mood by performing high energy songs. Chicosci lead singer Miggy Chavez hyped up the crowd by interacting and even asking them to sing along!

The crowd’s roaring energy was felt all throughout MOA Arena once the first note of “Lost In Stereo” played, starting out the set of All Time Low! It was a great start to their show and everybody was singing along.

All Time Low’s lead singer Alex Gaskarth and guitarist Jack Barakat shared their sentiments about being back in Manila after 4 year! They even joked around by saying that they have played more shows here in Manila than in their home country, the United States. It just shows how the band has so much love for their Filipino fans!

The band played new and old songs, including their 2009 Nothing Personal hits “Weightless” and “Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)” which is a serious throwback to the days when pop punk was a staple in a lot of teenager’s playlists! The crowd went wild to these songs, singing along to all the words. What a nostalgic moment!

Everything mellowed down as Alex strummed his acoustic guitar to “Missing You”. The beautiful lights and voices of the crowd filled MOA Arena. All Time Low just knows how to touch the fans with every aspect of their music.

The band surprised everyone with their own rendition of “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd. A different take to the 2020 smash hit! Instead of the synths The Weeknd uses in the original song. All Time Low killed it by giving it a pop-rock twist! We did not see that coming, but the audience loved every moment of the song!

The most beautiful part of the show: During the intermission, the crowd was chanting “Therapy!” hinting that they wanted the band to play one of their most loved songs. When the band came out on stage again, they said how they heard the crowd backstage loud and clear! They admitted that they never really planned on playing Therapy for their set, but were more than happy to grant the fans’ request – on the condition that the crowd help them sing along to the song. The atmosphere totally changed with the voices of the fans singing along to a 2022 version of the sentimental 2009 song. It couldn’t get any better than that!

All Time Low closed their one hour set with one of their biggest hits, “Dear Maria Count Me In”. The stage was filled with colorful lights, smoke and fireworks for the effects. It was a perfect way to close their long-awaited concert here in Manila! The band reassured their Filipino fans that they will be back again soon to play another show. Something to look forward to for Filipino All Time Low fans! The vibe of the show was so high and enjoyable, and we’re pretty sure everyone had a safe and great time! Huge thanks to PULP LIVE World for making this memorable concert happen once again in Manila!
