The Morning Rush's Chico, Rica, Hazel and Markki was joined by the fabulous Plastique Tiara, all the way from Dallas, on their Facebook Live last Wednesday, April 8!
Starting off the interview, Plastique was asked by Chico how their current life situation is like at Dallas and how long will they be quarantined for - Plastique answered that their quarantine will last until May 30 and their situation is basically just the same with ours! So, how is Plastique doing during this whole lockdown period? She's sleeping in and procrastinating! "I have same tasks that I wanna do each day, so like I'm folding laundry, I'm like, I'll do that tomorrow." She joked. Well, she definitely has 2 more months for that!
Plastique and the other queens from RuPaul's Drag Race did get a chance to visit the Philippines for their Werq The World Tour last February. She also shared that she has been wanting to visit the Philippines for a long time and finally got to go! Rica asked Plastique if they ever got to eat Filipino food to which Plastique answered that they definitely did.
Plastique also mentioned that the queens have done a Werq The World livestream and raised funds for the local entertainers who were affected by the COVID-19. Besides the livestream, Plastique has gone from full-face of makeup to no-face makeup ever since the quarantine so her skin definitely grateful right now for letting it breathe LOL! Rica also mentioned about Plastique's Youtube makeup videos in where she has perfected the "no-makeup makeup" look to which Plastique joked about that lighting and Photoshop really helps! Cmon Plastique, you are fabulous without the lighting and edit!
In terms of the show, RuPaul's Drag Race, Plastique was asked if she would be open to do it again if there would be an All Stars Feature? "Yeah! I always say that I would go back, when the time is right and when I'm ready and when I need a career boost." She said. Plastique also mentioned that for Season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race she is definitely rooting for her sister Gigi Goode since they are under the same management, Rock M. Sakura and Crystal Methyd! Fun Fact: Crystal Methyd is the one the rare earners of a RuPaul hug during a vulnerable moment, the first one being Plastique in the whole Drag Race Herstory. Plastique jokingly felt like her place is now taken by Crystal but don't worry Plastique, you'll always be RuPaul's baby!
On a more controversial note, Plastique was asked about her stance on this season of RuPaul's Drag Race catfishing issue involving Sherry Pie. Plastique straightly but safely answered the question in just 2 words, "Girl why?". Plastique also believes that there is someone out there for everyone and that you shouldn't create another identity to get close to another person since the relationship will be built on falseness and lies. And with that, she gave off an iconic line, "Dumbness is forever!" Preach it, Plastique!
Chico didn't hold back on asking Plastique to spill the tea on which queens were she most "surprised of" during her season. Plastique mentioned Silky, A'keria and Ra'Jah since they were the one who Plastique had an "in-and-out" kind of relationship with them, but confirmed that they have all made up since then as it has been 2 years since their season in RuPaul's Drag Race. Glad to hear that these queens are fixing each other's crowns!
Ending the Facebook Live, Plastique gave a thank you message to all of the frontliners during this trying time in Vietnamese. Yes, Plastique is actually Viet (real name Duc Tran Nguyen)! We love and stan our Asian queen!
