Nadine All Out April

Our time with this lady is never enough! Nadine Lustre dropped by on All Out to catch up with Rico and to give us the latest on her new projects, travels, and more.

When people started spotting Nadine with someone new, everyone wanted to find out who this guy was! You’ve seen snaps of him on social media (and maybe heard a little bit of gossip from ‘Marites’ friends), but of course Rico Chismoso had to get the tea straight from Nadine herself!

According to Nadine, she met her boyfriend Christophe in Siargao through a common friend. “To be fair, he didn’t know who I was,” Nadine admitted. The two hit it off at the beach then continued hanging out when she got back to Manila!

Nadine says she loves how natural their dynamic feels, and that they never run out of things to talk about. “It’s funny how in sync we are, with what we like,” she said. “It’s like two peas in a pod, pretty much.” From memes and corny jokes, to fun facts and documentaries, Nadine likes that she learns a lot from him and with him.

She has also noticed the difference of being in a more private relationship. “People don’t see everything this time around,” she said, noting that it’s not necessarily better, but just different. She knew that people would be surprised when the word got out, but the couple just went with the flow.

If you stay updated with Nadine through her socials, you’ve probably seen the pictures of them traveling across Europe where Nadine finally checked one activity off her bucket list: Skiing! “Yun talaga yung agenda, to ski!” Although, she wasn’t afraid to admit that it was a nerve wracking experience. “I think I cried a couple of times on top of a slope. Just because I’m scared of heights!”

Aside from the experience on the slopes, she also took a road trip to Italy for some gelato, saw Lake Geneva in Switzerland, and hit Europa Park in Germany for what she claims are the best roller coasters ever!

Now, Nadine’s back in Manila and ready to get back in the grind! Her latest project is out now: the movie “Greed” where she stars alongside Diego Loyzaga and Epi Quizon. “It’s so different from the stuff I’ve done before,” Nadine said about her role in Greed. “That’s what got me really excited – it’s not romcom, it’s not drama. It’s bloody, it’s a bit violent.”

When it comes to acting, Nadine loves a challenge. So when Director Yam Laranas told her about the role, saying yes to the project was ‘a no-brainer.’ She also praised her co-stars, saying that working with Loyzaga and Quizon really got her inspired.

Lots of fans are probably wondering if we can expect new music from Nadine any time soon. While it’s not her priority, music is surely not out of the picture. “As soon as everything’s finished with Greed, I’m gonna move on and start working on music again.” She’s taking things one step at a time at this point in her career, so she can give every aspect her 110 percent.

Prioritizing her wellness and growth at her own pace has always been something Nadine is vocal about. Her journey under the public eye hasn’t always been easy, but it’s taught her important lessons that she can now share with others.

“For me, the secret is to just go with the flow. Because bad things happen. These challenges, they come to us because we’re supposed to learn something from it, and we’re supposed to grow from it.” When faced with stressful or disheartening events, Nadine has learned to just go through it and trust that she will come out stronger. “These things are essential for you to become the person you’re supposed to be.”

She has also been open about her political opinions, and talked about the attitudes she wants to see in all the Filipinos (including herself) this election season: “At the end of the day, we have to be working together. We can’t be divided. That’s actually just what we have to do, we have to stick together and help each other up.”
